  • Aniplex to Release "Fullmetal Alchemist" 1st TV Anime Blu-ray Box Set in Japan

    For the first time in Blu-ray format

    The official site for the Fullmetal Alchemist anime series announced today on May 28 that Aniplex will release a 8-disc Blu-ray box set of the 2003-2004 TV anime in Japan on October 29, 2014. A Blu-ray disc of its sequel film Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa will be released separately on the same day. Hit the jump for more details.

  • Life-size "The Idolm@ster" Character Panels Offered in Japan

    Time-limited produced on order items featuring the 13 idols

    Aniplex's official online store ANIPLEX+has started accepting pre-orders for life-size character panels of the 13 idols of 765 Production. The panels are based on the newly-drawn promotional illustrations for the hit film The Idolm@ster Movie: Kagayaki no Mukougawae! released in January this year. Check the details after the jump.

  • International Premiere for Third "Madoka Magica" Film Confirmed

    "Madoka Magica New Feature: Rebellion" to be screened in France, US and Canada this year

    Not to be outdone by Anime Expo, the French Japan Expo also had its own bombshell to drop, as Aniplex announced late Saturday that it would release the long-awaited third Madoka Magica film in France weeks after the Japanese premiere, with the goal of screening in the US and Canada before the end of the year.
