Seiko Nextage will release two Attack on Titan collaboration wristwatches from its WIRED brand in Japan on September 9, 2016. Pre-orders for the watches inspired by the franchise's two main characters: Eren Yeager and Levi, will start on July 3. Check the product photos after the jump.
This year, Kodansha Comics is releasing Attack on Titan volumes 18 and 19 with subtitled DVDs of the "No Regrets" Levi shoujo prequel manga adaptation, originally released with 2014's Japanese releases of volume 15 and 16. Each also features original cover art from winners of the comic industry's prestigious Eisner Award. Comic Book Resources has now previewed August's volume 19, with cover art by Paolo Rivera (Daredevil, Hellboy & The B.P.R.D.). Get a look after the jump.
Today at Anime Central in Chicago, Kodansha Comics announced new licenses for this fall, including Happiness, the new manga by Flowers of Evil author Shuzo Oshimi and new Attack on Titan books. More after the jump.

There have been so many rounds of Attack On Titan season two rumors that it's easy to forge that a follow-up anime was actually, officially announced for 2016. Yūki Kaji (Eren), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), Marina Inoue (Armin), and director Tetsuro Araki revealed as much back in November 2014 during the opening of the first compilation movie.
In addition to Eiichiro Oda introduced Tuesday, many Japanese manga artists have been showing their support to the victims of the Kumamoto Earthquake with newly drawn illustrations. 29-yea-old Hajime Isayama, the creator of the internationally successful series Attack on Titan, is one of them. Toshio Okada, co-founder of Gainax and author of such books as Introduction to Otakuology and Is World Conquest Possible?, recently took to his official Youtube channel to offer his thoughts on Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga and TV anime, specifically the most efficient way to defend a human city from hordes of cannibalistic giants.
In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of its Araiguma Rascal/Rascal the Raccoon TV anime aired in Japan in 1977, Nippon Animation will open a pop-up shop "Harajuku Rascal Shop" in Harajuku, Tokyo, on May 1. Kodansha Comics had a couple of announcements to make at this weekend's Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, Washington. First, after saying that there was uncertainty about whether they'd be continuing Vinland Saga without fan support, they are confirming plans to continue the acclaimed historical Viking manga. Then, they announced plans for an anniversary collection of the classic Akira.
