After wrapping up its 11 volume run in February, Naoshi Arakawa's Your Lie In April ended 2015 with quite the accolade. The series from Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine was named by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda for a segment on Japanese TV as the manga he's most jealous of, explaining that it took his mind off work when crunching for deadlines.
Some more information on Omega Force and Koei Tecmo's upcoming Attack on Titan game recently came out of a Famitsu interview with director Tomoyuki Kitamura and producer Hisashi Koinuma. Those wondering who all they'll be able to play as can look forward to ten playable characters, including Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Krista, Sasha, Connie, Jean, Levi, Hange, and Erwin. According to the latest Oricon report, the 463-yen regular edition of the 18th tankobon volume of Hajime Isayama's manga series Attack on Titan topped its weekly manga sales chart with 969,743 copies. NHK's Anime World + Blog announced today on December 11 that the 25-episode first season of the Attack on Titan TV anime will be aired on BS Premium from January 9, 2016. The upcoming Japanese Bluray release of the Attack on Titan Part 2: The Wings of Liberty, the 2nd compilation film for the 2013 Attack on Titan TV series, will include a humorous special feature: the 1st episode of the TV series with all of the dialog re-recorded in Kansai dialect.
