Today on August 19, THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO, a new general facility dedicated to Bandai's Gundam plamodel kits, finally opens on the 7th floor of Diver City Tokyo in Odaiba, where it previously had the Gundam Front museum till this April. Bandai previously released a series of Sailor Moon trinkets known as the Little Charm series, and now there’s a second wave coming. This wave will feature transformation items hanging from golden ball chains, with each charm about three centimeters in size. There’s a set of ten that will retail for about 3996 yen. Bandai's official online store Premium Bandai today started accepting exclusive pre-orders for smartphone cases featuring an illustration of Ichigo Hoshimiya, the protagonist of the first two seasons of Sunrise's idol-themed TV anime series Aikatsu!. The Ichigo art is newly drawn by the TV anime character designer Hiroko Yauchi.
