Good Smile Company has been busy in the first weekend and a half of October with their Nendoroid figure plans. In 2016 you'll be able to pair off the heroic Hajime from Gatchaman Crowds against The Dark Knight's villainous Joker. Last October we got a peek at a Catwoman figure designed by Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII's Tetsuya Nomura, who also designed a fairly insane take on Batman. His Catwoman concept is similarly futuristic, but it actually might fit kind of well inside something like Batman: Arkham Knight. In time for this weekend's Winter Wonder Festival figure event, Kotobukiya has posted Shunya Yamashita's design for their Bishoujo line figure of DC Comics' Titans heroine Raven on their English Facebook page. Moe mountaineering is just got even cuter as Good Smile Company has previewed their super deformed Nendoroid figure of Encouragement of Climb lead Aoi Yukimura. For the first climber Nendoroid, they've put together special inclined based. She, along with sleeping bag shaped Nendoroid Pouches, go on sale November 5th. Meanwhile, order have launched for a Batman Nendoroid ahead of The Dark Knight's February release.
Following up on the news from summer's San Diego Comic Con that Square Enix and DC Comics were teaming up, in time for this weekend's New York Comic Con, character designer/director Tetsuya Nomura's alternative interpretation of Catwoman has been previewed. Like the previously showcased Batman design, Catwoman is set to become a Variant Play Arts Kai figure. Get a look after the jump.
