Coming on May 19th, Rei Hiroe's exotic action manga Black Lagoon returns to manga magazine Sunday GX. Along with this is the announcement that the 2006 Madhouse anime adaptation and its Second Barrage follow-up are getting a re-broadcast on Tokyo MX starting June 6th. More after the jump.
It's full-steam ahead for Black Lagoon author Rei Hiroe. His Re:Creators anime has premiered. Manga magazine Sunday GX has scheduled Black Lagoon's return for May 19th. To prepare for the resumption, on April 10th, they are releasing Black Lagoon: Back To Business, a 328-page book with early chapters "Black Lagoon", "Chase for ring-ding ships", a remaster of the first part of the "The Wired Red Wild Card" from volume 10, and Re:Creators material.
It's a big spring for Rei Hiroe. There's his Re:Creators anime debuting. There's a 10th anniversary re-run of the Madhouse Black Lagoon anime. And, as previously announced, the return of his Black Lagoon manga was planned to coincide with all of that. F/GO is now in its end game and Rei Hiroe's art has finally appeared, in the form of Rider Quetzalcoatl. After grabbing fans' attention with crossover featuring his early, 1994 Nazis versus manga Hisuikyou Kitan (Jade Gorge Story), the artist directed fans to a teaser blog post.
