    Parody slated for April 30th

    In time for this weekend's return of Fate/stay night, pre-order activity has kick up for TYPE-MOON's complete collection of Carnival Phantasm,including the publication of its cover art. The comedy OVA is based on Take-Moon parodies of Fate/stay night (and /hollow ataraxia)Tsukihime/Melty Blood and the like. Scheduled for April 30th, the two-disc release sells for 8,000yen.     There's no footage of the recently revealed "Fate/Prototype," but the new commercial for Type-Moon's Carnival Phantasm: 3rd Season does have plenty of the OVA's goofy side, including Saber cutely over-eating. Check it out after the jump.

  • "Fate/Prototype" To Be Animated in Short

    Final "Carnival Phantasm" to feature adaptation of prototype for "Fate" series

    "3rd Season," the final volume of the Type-Moon 10th anniversary celebration OVA, Carnival Phantasm, will feature a 12 minute short called "Fate/Prototype." The anime will adapt a version of Fate/stay night that Kinoko Nasu wrote in high school, featuring a female protagonist and a male version of the Saber character from Fate/stay night and its prequel Fate/zero. More after the jump!
