The eighth "Machi✩Asobi", a biannual anime/manga/game event in Tokushima-city, was held on May 3-5. The highlight of the event was Cosplay Fashion Show on the second day, which cosplayers could enjoy catwalk on the over 100m long red carpet through a shopping arcade in the city. "Machi Asobi" is the biggest anime/manga/game event in the western Japan. It has been held three times in a year (January, May, October) in Tokushima-city, the capital of Tokushima Prefecture on Shikoku island, since October 2009. I had an opportunity to attend the final day of the seventh event yesterday. One of the main events of the day was Cosplay Fashion Show on the over 100m long red carpet in a shopping arcade.
