Date A Live's Iori Nomizu (Is This a Zombie?'s Haruna) voiced Yoshino is remarkably shy, generally talking through her rabbit puppet rather than communicating directly. And, of course, an angel can turn that rabbit into a giant, attacking kaiju puppet. She also seems to be the series' break-out character. So July, we'll be getting both a figure and a hug pillow. FUNimation announced today that it has acquired the streaming rights for Date A Live. The series from AIC PLUS+ and director Keitaro Montonaga (Jormungand) will premiere on April 12, 2013 at 1:30pm ET. More after the jump.
After voicing Kuro Usagi and singing the opening for winter's Problem Children, Iori Nomizu is back as the voice of Yoshino/Hermit and singing the end theme for spring's Date a Live. A new, short promo introduces the concept for the anime adaptation of Koushi Tachibana's Date a Live. It's kind of like a standard magical girlfriend story, except the hero must date his ultra-powerful significant other because it's what's stopping her from destroying humanity.
