    Last month we posted some footage of Naotora Ii from Samurai Warriors, who recently joined the roster of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Koei Tecmo also tossed in a set of costumes as part of the Samurai Warriors collaboration, and you can see them in action in the trailer after the jump.

    Koei Tecmo recently announced plans to add Naotora Ii from Samurai Warriors to the Dead or Alive 5: Last Round roster on March 17 along with the Azuchi stage. While the quality isn't amazing, you can see her in action in footage from a NicoNico livestream after the jump.

    Costumes now available on Xbox One and Steam

    Koei Tecmo has posted a look at the set of Valentine's Day costumes for fighting game Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. The set of 34 costumes, with destructible ones for the ladies and indestructibles for the guys, is now available on Xbox One and Steam, with PlayStation 4 trailing on the 16th.     After last month's teaser of a Dead or Alive 5 - Last Round collaboration with venerable anime studio Tatsunoko that includes Ai-chan from Yatterman, with that series' Doronjo and the Yatterman Night version of the character, Gold Lightan, the leads for the new Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R and more, Koei Tecmo has now posted a preview.   • "Dead or Alive" Teases Tatsunoko Anime Costumes

    Also teased is Naotora Ii from Samurai Warriors

    At this weekend APM D-1 FIGHTING FESTIVAL event in Tokyo, Koei Tecmo and producer Yosuke Hayashi  teased collaborations coming to the Dead or Alive 5 - Last Round fighting game in March with an arcade lead in. A collaboration from venerable anime studio Tatsunoko include Ai-chan from Yatterman, with that series's Doronjo and the Yatterman Night version of the character, Gold Lightan and the leads for the new Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R.

    Fully-destructible 16-costume set hits Japan next week

    Earlier this month we saw a small sample of the Senran Kagura outfits coming to Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. A fully-destructible 16-costume set is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 in Japan next week for ¥3,428—with the Xbox One version priced at ¥3,672—and you can see a couple more screens after the jump.

    Second ninja costume set available for $14.50 (or $2 each)

    If there's one thing Koei Tecmo knows how to do, it's costumes. Dead or Alive 5: Last Round has a looooot of costumes, and the next batch is a second collection of ninja outfits. The set includes costumes for Phase 4, Helena, Leifang, Jann Lee, Jacky, Bayman, Zack, Raiden, Nyotengu, and Momoji, and is priced at $14.50 (or $2 a pop). Hit the jump for a video and more.

  • "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" PC Version Pushed Back to March 30

    Online modes to be patched in an update within three months time

    Good news and bad news for fans of Dead or Alive. Getting the bad news out of the way, the PC version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round has hit a bit of a delay. Originally scheduled for February 17, the fighter now has a March 30 date with Steam. Players will also have to wait around three months or so for a patch that adds in the online modes.
