3DS release offers up twice as much content as PSP version
Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode is heading to Nintendo 3DS in Japan with twice as much content as the PSP version. One of the additions is a new character who's been pulled into the digital world, Rina Shinomiya, and you can see her in the trailer after the jump.

This year, The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has spun off The International Emmy Kids Awards into its own stand-alone competition dedicated to recognizing excellence in children’s television programming produced and initially aired outside of the US. For the inaugural award, Toei Animation / TV Asahi's Digimon Xros Wars - The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time has been nominated in the Kids' Animation category. RPG slated for January 17th Japanese release
There's been some impressive talk about the scope of the upcoming Digimon Adventure. The RPG, scheduled to be released next year, will cover the complete 1999 anime series, episode by episode, as well as the Our War Game movie, and original “Sub-episode quests” and a post story end game with the main protagonist from other seasons of the Digimon anime making appearances. Saban Acquires "Digimon" Anime Franchise
New "Digimon Fusion" will debut at MIPCOM next month
Similar to how Saban Brands reclaimed the Power Ranger rights in 2010 after launching it in the '90s, Saban announced on Tuesday that the company has acquired rights to the Digimon anime franchise for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition encompasses rights to the property outside of Asia. More after the jump.
