Last week we got a lengthy look at Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory in a new Japanese promo, and now it's time to check it out again in English. Bandai Namco Entertainment America shared the localized version of the story and features trailer, highlighting characters, battles, training, and other aspects of the latest entry in the series.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory is a new version of Cyber Sleuth that takes place in the same world but features a brand new protagonist and characters with their own story. It's basically a different point of view from the original, and Bandai Namco's latest preview offers up nearly eight minutes of footage ahead of this week's launch on PS4 and PS Vita in Japan.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America hacked in with a western launch date for Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory earlier today. Bandai Namco recently announced Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory for PS4 and PS Vita in the west, and they followed that up with a fresh batch of screenshots. In addition to some assorted gameplay and Digimon screens, this set focuses on a pair of "mysterious female characters," Erika Mishima and Fei.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory is set to unleash a new story in the Cyber Sleuth world, in which our new protagonist's EDEN account is hacked, leading to a false accusation of a crime he didn't commit. Now he has to work to prove his innocence, and he'll have to team up with a group of hackers to do just that, all while solving larger issues threatening the DigiVerse.
