Dragon's Crown Pro is more than just a handsome upgrade of Vanillaware's beat 'em up. It also has a newly-recorded orchestral soundtrack, English and Japanese voices, and the ability to get into some cross-play action with the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions. Originally scheduled to launch in Japan on January 25, 2018, Dragon's Crown Pro has been pushed back slightly in Japan. The beefed-up beat 'em up—which includes 4K support, live orchestra soundtrack, cross-play, and both Japanese and English voiceovers—will now hit PS4 in Japan on February 8.
North American publisher Udon Entertainment will be expanding their library of game-inspired books with Yuztan's manga adaptation of 2013 Vanillaware RPG Dragon's Crown. The first volume is due out next month, and to prepared, they've posted a preview of the series. Get a look after the jump.
Udon Entertainment had a slate of licenses to announce at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con that included their first prose novel, Street Fighter. The book is written by Takashi Yano (Naruto: Itachi's Story, Naruto: Shikamaru's Story), with art by One-Punch Man's Yuusuke Murate.
