The exploits of 12th century samurai Nasu no Yoichi were immortalized with the 14th epic Heike Monogatari. The bit where he shoots an arrow out of a lady's hand from across a span of water is a particularly famously Japanese table. Now, thanks to his appearance in anime/manga Drifters, he's being immortalized on a hug pillow with what's described as a drunken side and a chain bondage side.
While Drifters has been riding the excitement of the anime's conclusion and hyping the December 30th release of its Blu-ray box set, it took a moment on December 25th to ponder if Christmas is celebrated on other worlds. While Kouta Hirano's Drifters isn't a manga that comes out at the fatest speed, you can't keep a good warrior down. After showcasing a bunch of new faces in "Staring at Shinsengumi ~The Song of the Fervid Kyūshū Man~", the episode 12 finale of this season's run of anime, the Hoods Drifters Studio production promised to return at some point in the future.

From Drifters comes a Medicos Entertainment Super Action Statue of the Hirano Kouta take on 16th century samurai Shimazu Toyohisa (a warrior you might have also caught in the Sengoku Musou series).
