At the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on June 5th, Square Enix showed off a new, internally-developed game engine called Luminous Studio. In a video called "Agni's Philosophy" they exhibited the power to "depict high quality real time computer graphics at the same level as pre-rendered computer graphics."
