Eiichiro Oda Hospitalized, "One Piece" Manga Goes on 2-Week Hiatus
Series is expected to return to Shonen Jump magazine on June 10
Fans of high profile shonen manga are no strangers to hiatuses on their favorite series, but One Piece is entering a slightly extended delay due to illness. As announced on the official Shonen Jump website, author Eiichiro Oda has been hospitalized, and the series will be absent from the magazine for two weeks. More after the jump.

Dos semanas de descanso debido a que Eiichiro Oda ha sido hospitalizado.
La web oficial de la revista Weekly Shonen Jump de Shueisha ha anunciado que el manga One Piece de Eiichiro Oda se tomará un descanso de dos semanas. Los editores de la revista han explicado que el autor ha tenido que ser ingresado por un absceso peritonsilar, una infección que aparece cerca de las amígdalas.

"One Piece Film Z" to Release in 5 Asian Countries Soon
Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Korea, and probably more!
Toei Animation announced today that One Piece Film Z, the most successful film in the anime series, will be released in five Asian countries soon; Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Korea. "One Piece Film Z" Breaks Franchise Opening Day Record
Expected to be the top-grossing film of the year
One Piece Film Z earned record-breaking 750 million yen (about US$9 million) at the box office and drew 600,000 audiences in Japan on its opening day yesterday. Ser un mangaka de éxito no es cosa sencilla, y el segundo número del Shukan One Piece Shimbun, el periódico de One Piece que se publicará durante cuatro semanas, lo confirma. En una entrevista con el mangaka responsable de One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, este ha revelado que se levanta todos los días a las 5 de la mañana, y que trabaja continuamente hasta las 2 de la mañana. Lo normal para él es dormir de 2 a 5 de la mañana.
