    Last weekend (April 2nd), Vision of Escaflowne celebrated the 20th anniversary of its TV debut. Kazuki Akane and Macross co-creator Shoji Kawamori's story of love, robot dragons and divining powers impressed many as anime was preparing to enter its boom years.     At the end of February, FUNimation announced that they are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Sunrise's fantasy anime The Vision of Escaflowne with a Kickstarter campaign, aiming to raise $150,000 in crowdfunding pledges to produce a new English dub for the series.
