The official blog for the Girls und Panzer anime series revealed on February 8 that the screening events for the upcoming OVA Kore ga Hontou no Anzio-sen Desu! (This Is the Real Anzio Battle!) will be held in 12 theaters across Japan from July 5. Hit the jump for more information.

Milktub and his people reached a decision to present a different and more peaceful method of audience participation by offering the audience wife/husband body pillows instead of glowsticks at their live events! As previously reported, additional theater dates for Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo were announced for major US cities and for the L.A. screening, there will also be a fun cosplay contest! Hosted by Cherry Jelly Productions, Eleven Arts and FUNimation, the event on Friday night January 17th will not only have many Eva-related prizes for winners, all participants in the cosplay contest will be able to watch the movie for free! The musical stage dates for the stage musical adaptation of Amnesia are getting closer! The official site for the musical has now posted the images of the cast in their respective costumes. Kuroko's Basketball is one of the most popular title in Weekly Shonen Jump, but their first stage at Jump-Festa 2013 was forced to be canceled due to the threat against the title and the original author, Tadatoshi Fujimaki. With the recent apprehension of the threat suspect, Jump-Festa went on with KuroBasu's first official stage at the event and the voice actors that attended tweeted about the stage with joy. The official site for the 2014 winter TV anime pupa announced today that they will host a screening event for the uncensored version of its first eight episodes in Chiba Prefecture on December 21. The KyoAni & Do "C T F K" event was held this weekend in Japan and some new updates for Free! have been posted by attendees. "CTFK" stands for each respective anime shows by KyoAni and Animation Do, C is for Chuunibyo Demo Koi Ga Shitai, T is for Tamako Market, K is for Kyokai No Kanata (Beyond the Boundary) and F is for Free! Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion, the final installment of the Madoka Magica film trilogy, will be finally released in Japan this week on Saturday. The 3rd floor of "Nostalgic Hero Toy Exhibition," which is held by Tokushima Shimbun between September 28 and October 27, is dedicated to kaiju figures from popular tokusatsu films and TV series, such as Toho's Godzilla, Daiei's Gamera, and Tsuburaya Production's Ultra series. As a pre-event for its 70th anniversary project, Tokushima Shimbun, a local newspaper in Tokushima-city, is now holding "Nostalgic Hero Toy Exhibition" featuring 2,000 Japanese figures from 1960s to 2000s on the 2nd and 3rd floor of Nishisenba Building in the city. As the name suggests, ufotable CINEMA is a movie theater owned by famous anime studio Ufotable (Fate/Zero, The Garden of Sinners). The company opened it in Higashishinmachi Shopping Arcade, Tokushima-city, in March 2012. It is now the only movie theater in the city. Check the photo report after the jump.

The Poppo shopping arcade near the JR Tokushima station was one of the main sites of the 11th Machi Asobi, the biggest anime/manga/game event on the island of Shikoku.
