NIS America decided to pull a little switcheroo on the release dates for Fairy Fencer F and Natural Doctrine. Fairy Fencer F will now head to PlayStation 3 in the west first, with Natural Doctrine following a week later. Details after the jump.
Compile Heart's Fairy Fencer F is coming to PlayStation 3 in the west in September, bringing with it the character art of Hyperdimension Neptunia's Tsunako and the respective concept art and music of Final Fantasy veterans Yoshitaka Amano and Nobuo Uematsu. NIS America is here with the first English screens, showing a few of the RPG's characters after the jump.
Fairy Fencer F is the inaugural game from Compile Heart's Galapagos RPG, a label that wears that fact that it's specifically for Japanese consumers on its sleeve. The project features the Neptunia Team working with Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano and composer Nobuo Uematsu’s band Earthbound Papas. Well, now it is coming to the west and NIS America has expanded on the plans they sketched out earlier this spring.
Following up on yesterday's release date for Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, we have dates for two more NIS America titles, Compile Heart's Fairy Fencer F and Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited. Both games will be $39.99 and include English and Japanese audio options. More after the jump.
NIS America had a handful of announcements to make during yesterday's press event, including word that the Fairy Fencer F RPG is coming to the west. Compile Heart's RPG is due out both physically and digitally on PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe this year. Hit the jump for more.
