  The wait is over for the retooled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn! Well, at least it's over for the release date, which has been revealed as August 27 on PC and PlayStation 3. That's not all, though, because Square Enix also showed off the fancy Collector's Edition that can be yours for a premium price. More after the jump.

  Square Enix detailed beta plans for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn back in December, and according to the latest announcement, it looks like things are still mostly on track for the PC version. Producer Naoki Yoshida says beta testing will officially kick off on February 25, and those who were selected should be getting emails soon. Read on for more!
