It was a long time coming, but we finally got our first look at crossover RPG Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem during yesterday's Nintendo Direct presentation. See the colorful debut trailer—which features a mix of anime cinematics and gameplay—after the jump.
This morning's Nintendo Direct presentation showed some more footage from Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., the strategy game from Fire Emblem devs Intelligent Systems. It's fitting, then, that S.T.E.A.M. will have amiibo support that brings some of the Fire Emblem cast in as playable characters. Hit the jump for more.
The Fire Emblem series has been around since the Famicom days in Japan, but those of us in the west were first exposed to it via the 2003 Game Boy Advance game. Now that entry is officially available on the North American Wii U eShop, where it can be downloaded for $7.99. More after the jump.
