Movie buzz site Ain't It Cool News has run a profile of All Nippon Entertainment Works (ANEW),a film development and production company focused on Japanese IP, founded with backing from the INCJ (Innovation Network Corporation of Japan), Among their anime projects is a partnershiping to develop a live action version of Tiger & Bunny and a live-action version of Toei mecha series Gaiking with Walking Dead producer Gale Ann Hurd.
North American distributor Discotek has posted a trio of "as seen at Otakon 2015" trailers, offering looks at Yoshiaki Kawajiri's classic Wicked City, which is currently set for a 2016 release, 1976 mecha series Gaiking and 1983's Super Dimension Century Orguss. Get a look after the jump.

Back in 2010, Toei showed off a pair of CG proof of concepts for remakes pf space opera Captain Harlock and mecha Gaiking. In spring 2011, we heard that Harlock was in progress, planned for 2013. Gaiking was silent, until now. Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Entertainment and Toei Animation have signed on with All Nippon Entertainment Works for a feature version of Gaiking. More after the jump.

In conjunction with Toei Entertainment, Crunchyroll is launching three new anime series, available in the US and Canada starting today. The anime in question are Digimon Tamers, Interlude and Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu.
