    New Twitter associations invite speculation

    The latest inspiration for speculation among sharp-eyed otaku is that the Twitter account of Gen Urobuchi, known for Madoka Magica and Psycho-Pass and before that Nitro+ works including Fate/zero, has recently become linked to folks from anime studio Trigger. Among the 259 follows are now the studio, as well as Panty and Stocking/Kill La Kill's Hiroyuki Imaishi and Shigeto Koyama. More after the jump.

    Before Madoka Magica and Fate/zero, writer Gen Urobuchi made his name on Nitroplus visual novels. One of these was 2003's Lovecraftian horror eroge Saya no Uta, about a medical student who receives brain surgery after a near-fatal auto accident, causing him to see the world as pulsating flesh and entrails, except for one beautiful girl in a white dress.
