Global distribution plans have been made for Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin, which Anime Consortium Japan announced for paid streaming and premium Blu-ray. The OVA series will be available via anime streaming platform Daisuki starting on February 28, and will be presented in both the Japanese language and an English dub.

Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I Blue-Eyed Casval will premiere in limited Japanese theaters on February 28, 2015. Along with the recent localized trailer, the official Gundam Info site has been updated with the introduction of a set of characters who later end up in the original Mobile Suit Gundam in different contexts, or who fit into interesting niches in Gundam history.
In keeping with the event's "kaiju versus mecha" 2015 theme, Anime Boston announced that the convention will be hosting Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Koki Uchiyama as Guests of Honor. The con takes play April 3-5 in Boston, Massachusetts. More after the jump.
Bandai has posted an English dubbed version of the second trailer for Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I Blue-Eyed Casval, and along with it announced the cast for the localization. Last week the new Global Portal announced that they had just finished recording English dub for this episode. The first of the four-episode adaptation of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's manga will premiere in limited Japanese theaters on February 28, 2015.

A group called "GUNDAM FEVER PROJECT" has posted their first prank video "-The Attack of ZAKU II in TOKYO-" on YouTube. The scene is set at an office in Tokyo. The screens disguised as glass windows suddenly show a 1/1 scale Char Zaku, so close to the building. Check the video after the jump!
