The last couple months have been rough for Sony, and that just might be the understatement of the year. The Playstation Store went down along with the entire Playstation Network back on April 20 as a result of an attack by a hacker group some believe to be Anonymous, but Sony has announced that they plan to have it fully restored by the end of the week for those outside of Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea.
It's been a rough haul of late for both Sony and their customers, who have experienced an indefinite outage of their online service, Playstation Network. That means no online gaming, no purchasing from the store and, of course, all of your sensitive information now at the mercy of nefarious hackers. Wait, rewind that. Say what?
