Hakuouki, the otome game series about a young woman's relationships with the samurai of the Shinsengumi, is set to be reimagined for a modern setting in Hakuoki: Sweet School Life. A 44-second preview video for a 2013 summer anime film Hakuouki Dai-isshou Kyoto Ranbu (Hakuouki: Chapter 1 Kyoto Boisterous Dance) has been posted in the web. It was announced in 2012 that the film would be the first part of the two-part Hakuouki film project. Check the video after the jump.
PK Theater, a Japanese creator team who have successfully produced the PSYCHO-PASS Hands-On game will produce another Live-Action Hands-On game based on Hakuouki for Toshimaen, an amusement park in Japan. Players can also play the game in cosplay if they choose to do so. More after the jump!
