    A week after Skyfall usurped Evangelion 3.0 at the top of the Japanese box office, Bond has been beaten by the latest Kamen Rider flick. For the weekend of December 8th/9th, Eva fell to #4 behind Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War ULTIMATUM, Skyfall, and the live-action adaptation of shoujo manga Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu.   • "Skyfall" Dethrones "Evangelion" in Japanese Box Office

    Latest James Bond flick ran on 584 screens - 355 subtitled vs. 229 dubbed

    It had to happen sooner or later. Evangelion 3.0 ruled the Japanese box office since its November 17th opening, but that entry plug has finally been ejected. Skyfall grabbed the top spot this past weekend with nearly 400,000 moviegoers buying 455 million yen ($5.5 million) worth of tickets opening weekend.     There's evidence that Sony has laid claims on the name "Skyfall" for the 23rd James Bond movie, which will be the third to feature Daniel Craig as Agent 007.
