Japanese female vocal trio Kalafina – known for their musical contributions to the Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, and Black Butler II anime – will be performing at Anime Central in Chicago. Hit the jump for details and a comment video from the girls themselves!
Keeping familiar names in the mix, the theme song for Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part II: The Eternal Story has been revealed to be new Kalafina number "Full Light." The singers previously performed the TV series' second ending, "Magia" and have been heard on ufotable Type-Moon anime Fate/zero and Garden of Sinners. More after the the jump.
Anime studio ufotable's eighth Tokushima based Machi ★ Asobi anime event is being held May 3-5 to coincide with the collection of public holidays known as Golden Week. To kick things off, vocalist trio Kalafina were named Japan Railways Tokushima Station Masters for the Day. More after the jump.

Crunchyroll set the stage last week to feature the breathtaking cosplayer Linda Le from vampybit.me, Patrick Macias from Otaku USA magazine and the ladies of K-On. Now, it prepares to blow off the roof with the addition of the Japanese band Kalafina, voice actors Tony Oliver and Kyle Herbert, and the beautiful Yaya Han at Crunchyroll’s live streaming event at this year’s Anime Expo held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 1-4. The official website of vocal unit Kalafina has announced that their third album will finally be released this fall, over a year since their previous album. Kalafina has sung songs for The Garden of Sinners, Black Butler, and most recently, they sang the Puella Magi Madoka Magica ending theme "Magica."
Anime Expo has announced that musical group Kalafina will be appearing as a guest of honor at the convention this year. They will be performing in concert on July 2nd. Anime Expo takes place July 1st to 4th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles California.
