One of the largest Japanese karaoke companies, XING today announced the rankings for the most popular songs based on its online karaoke service JOYSOUND in 2014. The No.1 song in the anime/tokusatsu/game category this year is the Japanese version of "Let It Go" sung by Takako Matsu. Check the top 20 ranking after the jump.
According to the latest Joysound annual ranking, Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis, the opening theme from Neon Genesis Evangelion has been the most requested song at karaoke in Japan for 7 consecutive years. Even though only the TV version will be available "Guren No Yumiya" by Linked Horizon, the OP for "Attack On Titan" will be available for karaoke performance at JOYSOUND franchise karaoke boxes in Japan from early June before the planned release of the full length version of the song on July 10th.
