After a run of some 5 years and 14 collected volumes, Kiss Him, Not Me - a manga by Junko about a high school fujoshi who becomes suddenly popular after a dramatic transformation - has published its final chapter in the March 2018 issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend manga magazine, which was published in Japan on February 13, 2018. Prior to the fall 2016 Kiss Him Not Me anime, volumes 5, 7, 8 and 9 of Junko's manga in 2015/2016 included drama CDs starring Kana Hanazawa, Hiroshi Kamiya, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Takahiro Sakurai, Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Chinatsu Akasaki. With volume 13 planned for November 13th, a new drama CD has been announced. This time it will feature the anime cast (Yū Kobayashi, Yuki Ono, Keisuke Kōmoto, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Nobunaga Shimazaki).
Between keeping up on this season's anime (she is apparently watching at least Occultic;Nine and Yuri!!! on Ice), and celebrating her birthday, Kiss Him Not Me author Junko was evidently going through some old material. With a note that she didn't get the shirts quite right, Junko shared look at the gender-swapped version of the cast that she prepared for a booklet released with the manga's volume nine. This week's Kiss Him, Not Me episode 8, "I'm at a Disadvantage!" introduced Nozomu Nanashima's (CV Keisuke Kōmoto) imouto (CV Sayuri Yahagi) and his secret ability to dance to the theme of anime-within-an-anime Puri Puri Moon. Kōmoto seems especially game for promoting the series (he helped out on a karaoke collaboration last month) and this week he was filmed demonstrating the dance.
Funimation's SimulDub line-up adds some shoujo tomorrow with the premiere of the English audio version of Kiss Him, Not Me. Look for the adaptation of Junko's award winning manga starting on November 8th at 9:00pm ET and the cast list after the jump.

This week's episode 3 of Kiss Him, Not Me adapts the second volume of the manga's opening story, in which Kae's class presents a cosplay cafe for their school's cosplay festival. The anime keeps the bit in Junko's manga where her friends Yūsuke Igarashi and Amane Nakano wear Attack on Titan uniforms. The thing is, Kae's voice actress had a role in Attack on Titan, and a rather notable one at that.
Kiss Him, Not Me is teaming up with 2 locations in Akihabara with a collaboration campaign that includes both a special menu and a karaoke room decorated to suit the tastes of everyone's favorite fictional fujoshi. Hit the jump to learn more.
