Impressive Learning Organic Chemistry with Lucky Star features Konata and company, with teacher Takashi Matsubara assisting the school girls. Lucky Star has a special relationship with real Washinomiya Shrine, where its Hiiragi serve as fictional shrine maidens. Timed for New Years, the venerable Shinto holy site was host to a special Lucky Star announcement, as a prayer ema was hung revealing that Kagami Yoshimizu's spin-off Miyakawake no Kuufuku will be receiving an anime adaptation. After searching and teasing, the stage musical version of Lucky Star has revealed who will be playing the role of Konata Izumi. The public met gravure idol Ran Sakai as the blue haired otaku queen for the first time during a promotion for the show at this past weekend's Washimiya "Lucky Star" Shrine's Hajisai Festival.
