Osaka-based character figure company Xplus has started accepting pre-orders for its upcoming 40cm-tall figure of Lum, the main heroine of Rumiko Takahashi's popular comedy manga series in the 1980s, Urusei Yatsura, from its large size figure line Gigantic for a late September release. This weekend, over one hundred sake producers from across Niigata Prefecture will be bringing their brews to the annual Sake no jin sake festival in Niigata City. Niigata happens to be the home town of Rumiko Takahashi, and Fuji Shuzo will be honoring the legend with sake inspired by Lum from Takahashi's manga Urusei Yatsura. More after the jump.
Bandai's Creer Beaute announced the upcoming release of "Love Darling Cosmetic Series" , featuring products based on Rumiko Takahashi's 1978 – 1987 comedy Urusei Yatsura.
