According to the official detailed report on the event for the upcoming Macross Delta projects held in Kanagawa Prefecture on Monday, the Macross franchise's original creator Shoji Kawamori confirmed that Macross Delta the Movie will be a compilation film based on the 26-episode TV anime series with "a little something extra."
