"Robotech" Kickstarter Completes Campaign After Raising Almost $1.5 Million
Fundraiser met goal three hours after April launch
Palladium Book's Kickstarter campaign to crowd-fund strategy battle game Robotech RPG Tactics, based on the localized version of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA closed on May 20th. It met its goal three hours after its April 18th launch and went on to raise $1,442,312, really proving that Robotech fans are dedicated and/or have a healthy amount of disposable income. Augmented Reality Puts Real Sized SDF1 Macross in Osaka
30th anniversary festivities move to Osaka for the New Year
At around 1200 meters, the transforming space battleship SDF-1 Macross is one of the largest mecha in anime. And, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show it gave its name to, it's visiting Hirakata park, Hirakata city, Osaka through the second week of January.
