The Galactic Fairy's new Ichibankuji figure was also on display in Akihabara and the birthday board was filled with hand-written messages from her fans during the event throughout the day. Macross Frontier's galactic fairy Sheryl Nome has a new dress design and Japanese lolita brand Angelic Pretty turned it into a real dress available for fans to purchase. This is part of the Oshare Macross F9 event currently going on at the Marui Annex in Japan and pre-orders are now open until October 31st at Angelic Pretty's Shinjuku location only. Osamu Tezuka's was inspired by musicals, especially the work of the all-female Takarazuka Revue, when making his influential shoujo manga Princess Knight. So, when the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum in Hyogo Prefecture hosts a ‘MACROSS THE MUSEUM’ exhibit starting June 28th, it makes connection to draw the connection between the alway musical Macross and Princess Knight. On June 3rd, Japanese mobile phone service provided Docomo will begin offering Macross Concier to its smartphone users. For a monthly subscription or pay as you go, you can get a Shabette Kyara digital assistant with the voice of Macross F's idols, "Galactic Fairy" Sheryl Nome or "Super-Dimension Cinderella" Ranka Lee. April 21st is a shared birthday for two voice actors, Katsuyuki Konishi and Hiro Shimono! Konishi visited the US a few times and some of you may have met him at conventions. Music label Flying Dog has posted preview video for the theme song for Macross F/Macross 7 crossover project Macross FB7.
