    One of the the fun things in the National High School Manga Championship of Japan, aka Manga Koshien, is manga graffiti on the white booth walls drawn by the high school kids.     As the photos I have taken show, the majority of members of Japanese manga club who compete in the 21st National High School Manga Championship of Japan, aka Manga Koshien, are girls.     The 21st National High School Manga Championship of Japan, aka Manga Koshien, started at the Cul-Port multipurpose hall in Kochi-city, Kochi Prefecture today on August 4.     See what Japanese high school kids are capable of!

    This is the third and final part of Manga Koshien 2011, the 20th National High School Manga Championship of Japan report. The kids were allowed and encouraged to draw "graffiti" on the walls of their booth in their spare time. They were able to draw anything they wanted, including anime and manga characters.     Finally, the 20th Manga Koshien, National High School Manga Championship of Japan, will be held on August 6 and 7 at Cul-Port in Kochi-city, Kochi. Manga Koshien is an annual nationwide high school manga tournament. Any manga, comic, and anime club in Japanese high school can participate in the tournament. For the first time in their 20 years history, they will live-broadcast the event to the world on USTREAM. More information after the jump.
