New York creative PARTY has announced the launch of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign working with Moyoco Anno ( Insufficient Direction,Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen, Sugar Sugar Rune) with the aims of creating a stop-motion anime short based on the manga author's Diary of O’Chibi. Married Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno and manga artist Moyocco Anno ( Insufficient Direction, Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen) have made a bit of a tradition of contributing lanterns to the summer Bonbori Matsuri, held at the Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gū shrine in Kamakura. Get ready for this year's, this posted her work on the lantern, along with a special illustration of the men of her magic girl manga Sugar Sugar Rune.
At this weekend's New York Comic Con, North American publisher Vertical announced plans to release the Attack on Titan: Before the Fall prequel light novels starting in Summer 2014. Moyocco Anno's In Clothes Named Fat manga will also be released that quarter. More after the jump.

North American manga publisher Vertical announced at Anime Expo that they'll be releasing Moyoco Anno's (Sakuran, Happy Mania, Sugar Sugar Rune) 2005, one volume Kantoku Fuyuki Todoki as Insufficient Direction in Spring 2014. Moyoco Anno hasn't been creating much manga lately, but, she has certainly made her mark with acerbically funny Happy Mania (published in North America by Tokyopop), Flowers & Bees (published in North America by Viz, featuring a character scarily like her husband, Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno), and Sugar Sugar Rune (published in North America by Del Rey).
