J-rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel have just broken new ground for Japanese music in the USA. As part of their 2012 World Tour, the group will be playing a March, 23rd show at Madison Square Garden in NYC, making them the first Japanese act ever to headline at this historic venue. Harajuku diva, and the face behind the now-immortal PONPONPON music video, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has just been announced as a musical performer at the V-ROCK FESTIVAL ’11. She joins a galaxy of stars that includes YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz, MUCC, and DEAD END. Although the concert will be held in Japan on 10/23, overseas fans will be able to watch as well.
