Yukari Tamura (OreShura's Masuzu Natsukawa) voices the titular problem fish while Takahiro Mizushima (Code Geass' Rollo Lamperouge) is the put upon male lead in the Tatsunoko show. Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san también tendrá una OVA
Llegará en agosto y contará con el mismo cast y staff que la serie que se estrenará el 6 de abril.
Desde el grupo editorial Kodansha se ha anunciado que la edición limitada del noveno volumen recopilatorio del manga Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san de Nashima Keiji incluirá una OVA en DVD cuando se lance el día 16 de agosto. El DVD contará con el mismo cast y staff de la serie de televisión, la cual se estrenará el 6 de abril.
