Seirei No Moribito, the fantasy novel series by Nahoko Uehashi, will become a live-action TV drama on the NHK network in 2016 in Japan. The drama is planned to run for 3 years to cover the entire 10 volume run of the novel series and, as previously reported, Haruka Ayase was chosen to play the main character Balsa. As reported, Shibuya Anime Land, a popular radio show on NHK Radio 1, has been holding a popularity vote "My Favorite Anime Heroines" in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Japanese TV anime broadcasting. NHK Radio 1, a Japanese radio station operated by the public broadcaster NHK, has opened a web-page for its upcoming voting project "My Favorite Heroines" on their official site. The primary election to pick 10 finalists has already begun. Most importantly, they welcome the foreign anime fan's votes. Check the details after the jump!

NHK (Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai: Japan Broadcasting Corporation) has posted a video footage featuring its official moe character Haru-chan on its YouTube channel. NHK is Japan's national public broadcasting organization. The very moe-ish character Haru-chan has been appearing in the weather report section of News Watch 9 since February 2011.
