Gravity Rush 2 was shown off during a live concert at the Sony Interactive Entertainment booth during Tokyo Game Show 2016. Fantasy meets Phantasy in an upcoming collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward and Phantasy Star Online 2. The former will be invading the latter as Odin enters PSO2 as a boss this summer along with other crossover fun, like Miqo'te outfits and more. Hit the jump for a video announcement.
Last month Sega announced plans to bring Phantasy Star Online 2 to PlayStation 4 in Japan this spring, while those of us in the west just kind of sat around twiddling our thumbs. That aspect isn't going to change any time soon, but Sega did follow up with a concrete release date. Service will officially kick off in Japan on April 20, with the closed beta set to run from February 25 to March 6. More after the jump.
Sentai Filmworks has expanded their winter 2016 plans with the announcement that they have licensed Norn9 and Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation. Both series will be broadcast in Japan starting in January, and will be available through select digital outlets, with a home video release to follow. More after the jump.
