    Miku celebrates the festival's 10th anniversary

    The sakura (cherry blossom) season has arrived in Japan. A festival in Nagano called "Ueda Castle Thousands of Cherry Trees Festival" has used the most famous vocaloid character Hatsune Miku's "Senbonzakura" as its 10th anniversary song.     "Kamen Rider" veteran Kazuki Kato's cast as KAITO in March production

    After racking up over four million views and becoming a karaoke phenomenon, Kurousa-P's Hatsune Miku hit song "Senbonzakura" (One Thousand Cherry Blossoms) began a multi-media journey. Last fall, ASCII Media Works announced a light novel adaptation with illustrations by Ittomaru. Now, a musical has been scheduled to play in March at the Hakuhinkan Theater in Ginza, Tokyo.
