Sentai Filmworks announced its license of Short Peace—the anime anthology curated by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo—in February. The collection of four short films will be released on Blu-ray and DVD after Eleven Arts' theatrical run, and you can see the English trailer after the jump.
Bandai Namco Europe has posted an English subtitled teaser trailer for Shuhei Morita's Possessions, the Oscar nominated segment of the Short Peace anime anthology. The "amazingly deep cross-platform experience" of the four anime shorts and game Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day will be released in Europe and Australasia April 18th. Get a look after the jump.

This year, 19 films were submitted for Best Animated Feature Oscar contention. Since at least 16 were accepted, a field of five films have received nominations, including Hayao Miyazaki's final anime feature, The Wind Rises.
