After last month's confirmation that Soul Eater Not! will be adapted to anime, Bones, the studio behind the adaptation of the original 2008 Soul Eater supernatural action anime has been attached to the new production. More after the jump.
Chiaki Omigawa, Maka in Soul Eater, confirmed on a live Nicovideo radio program the teased news that that spin-off Soul Eater Not! is getting an anime adaptation.
Looks like Soul Eater's previously announced "Final Battle" is going to be playing out rather quickly. The July issue of Monthly Shōnen Gangan, on sale June 12th, will announce the time frame. Then issues released on July and August 12th will conclude Atsushi Ohkubo's manga series. More after the jump.
There isn't a definitive time frame for either, but both Shūzō Oshimi's Flowers of Evil and Atsushi Okubo's Soul Eater manga are making overtures towards approaching their conclusions. While Flowers is explicitly not at its final chapter, talk at Bessatsu Shounen Magazine is apparently that it's getting there. Meanwhile, Soul Eater has begun promoting its progress towards a "Final Battle." More after the jump.
