  • "Let It Go" Dominates Top 3 of Billboard Japan's "Hot Animation" Ranking

    "Love Live!" songs takes top 4 places in the independent ranking

    Billboard Japan has announced its rankings for the first half of 2014. The three versions of "Let It Go" sung by Takako Matsu, May J, and Idina Menzel take the top 3 places in the "Top Animation" category. Meanwhile, "Takaramozozu" (Love Live!   • "Frozen" Soundtrack Album Breaks Record of "Farewell Yamato" 36 Years Ago

    Selling 466,000 units in Japan in 2 months

    Oricon announced on May 12 that the original soundtrack album for Walt Disney Animation Studios' 3DCG musical fantasy film Frozen, which was released in Japan on March 12, has sold 466,000 units in two months and has become the top-selling animation film soundtrack album in history.   • "Piano Opera Final Fantasy I/II/III" CD Coming February 29th

    Overseen by series soundtrack composer Nobuo Uematsu

    A new compilation of Final Fantasy soundtrack songs was announced today. Called Piano Opera Final Fantasy I/II/III, it's a selection of 13 popular tracks and medleys from the first three games, and the piano arrangements were overseen by composer Nobuo Uematsu himself.  Check to see if your favorite song made it on, past the break!
