Other minor tweaks due in update slated for this Friday
Those still playing, or just now digging into, the fan-made, Capcom-delivered Street Fighter X Mega Man can look forward to some tweaks in an update due out this Friday. Chief among them is the much-requested addition of passwords, so you'll no longer have to worry about powering through the game in one go. More after the jump.

Street Fighter® X Mega Man® will celebrate the closing ceremonies of the 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter® and kick off the festivities taking place in 2013, when Mega Man takes center stage as “The Blue Bomber” reflects on his own 25 years of gaming greatness. The Street Fighter X Mega Man game will be released as a PC download beginning on December 17, 2012 and will be offered to fans for FREE through Capcom’s official website, Capcom-Unity.com

8-bit style fan creation gets official Capcom release on December 17
Capcom made an interesting announcement at the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Grand Finals event. The company plans to make a fan project official with the release of Street Fighter x Mega Man, an NES-style action game that pits both anniversary-celebrating franchises against one another.
