XSEED Games announced a collaboration between Killer is Dead and Japanese rock group JESSE and the BONEZ today. The tag-team-up sees the group's "BOSSMAN" and "ACCESS VIOLATION" tracks being featured in the actioner, and they also busted out a special music video trailer. Check it out after the jump.
Short Peace opens in Japan July 20th. Spinning off from this as a "fifth" entry in theproject will be Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, a PlayStation 3 “high-speed effect action” 2D side-scroller set in modern Japan, directed by Tokyo Jungle‘s Yohei Kataoka and written by No More Heroes' Suda51. Here's some interesting creative lineage. Short Peace, the new anime anthology feature helmed by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo opens in Japan July 20th. According to an early look at the new Famitsu, Killer is Dead director Goichi Suda is working with Namco Bandai on an upcoming PlayStation 3 side-scrolling game, Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day. The “high-speed effect action” 2D side-scroller set in modern Japan is being though of as the fifth part of the project.
A new episode of KID TV is here to chat with the ladies and show off Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture's Killer is Dead, including more of the boss fight with Alice. The latest promotional clip for Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51's insane looking action game Killer is Dead is a doozy. Be wary if you want to go into the game blind, but if you don't care then get ready for some intense action against enemies and, of course, a mostly-nude boss dude wearing nothing but thin strips of royal gold after the jump.
