Sony's E3 press conference featured a brief, gory reveal of the next action game from Suda51 (No More Heroes, Killer is Dead), Let It Die. The free-to-play survival action game was originally shown last year with the working title Lily Bergamo, and now it has its first set of screens after the jump.
Another Japanese creator showing off a new IP during Sony's press conference was none other than Goichi "Suda51" Suda. Well, he wasn't actually there to show it off himself, but his name is attached to a PlayStation 4 exclusive called Let It Die. Hit the jump for more.
Level-5 and Suda51's Guild01 3DS action game Liberation Maiden is being spun off into Liberation Maiden Sin, a PS3 visual novel from 5pb. (Steins;Gate), scheduled for December 5th. A new preview offers a look at its cast, along with plenty of cut scene footage. Check it out after the jump.

Given its bite-sized nature as part of Level-5's downloadable Guild01 series on Nintendo 3DS, it seemed unlikely we'd see more from Suda51's shooter, Liberation Maiden. It's appropriate, then, that the sequel comes in the unlikely form of visual novel Liberation Maiden Sin, which hits PlayStation 3 in Japan on December 5. More after the jump.

XSEED Games announced a collaboration between Killer is Dead and Japanese rock group JESSE and the BONEZ today. The tag-team-up sees the group's "BOSSMAN" and "ACCESS VIOLATION" tracks being featured in the actioner, and they also busted out a special music video trailer. Check it out after the jump.
Short Peace opens in Japan July 20th. Spinning off from this as a "fifth" entry in theproject will be Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, a PlayStation 3 “high-speed effect action” 2D side-scroller set in modern Japan, directed by Tokyo Jungle‘s Yohei Kataoka and written by No More Heroes' Suda51. Here's some interesting creative lineage. Short Peace, the new anime anthology feature helmed by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo opens in Japan July 20th. According to an early look at the new Famitsu, Killer is Dead director Goichi Suda is working with Namco Bandai on an upcoming PlayStation 3 side-scrolling game, Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day. The “high-speed effect action” 2D side-scroller set in modern Japan is being though of as the fifth part of the project.
