Earlier today Nintendo announced Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, which is different from its older Wii U sibling in a few key ways. Players will be able to go online to download and play courses made with the Wii U version, but not all courses are available and you can't search by Course ID. While level creation is mostly the same, players will only be able to share courses they make via local wireless and StreetPass.
