Kendama is a cup and ball game, introduced to Edo Era Japan in the late eighteen century. But, now we're in the digital age, so we have the Dendama ("electric ball" rather than "duce ball"), a toy that with tracking, ranking, and competing via a linked app. And, there's a Sword Art Online model!

Sword Art Online author Reki Kawahara explained on Twitter that originally this was more expicit in its name-dropping.
While still running in its domestic market of Japan, it is confirmed today that Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale has earned 850 million yen (about 7.62 million US dollars) with the one million ticket sales in 19 regions/countries in the international market. Now the film's combined domestic and overseas grosses have reached 3.35 billion yen (30 million US dollars).
Osaka-based clothing company Seven Digit's kids cloth brand "Betty" announced today that it has launched a new collaboration project with acclaimed Japanese animator/anime character designer Shingo Adachi. Sword Art Online, a gaming sci-fi by Reki Kawahara set in the year 2022, and Accel World, a gaming sci-fi set in the year 2046, met again this spring in Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. He's recently shared a look at the mountain of series merchandise that has accumulated over the last year. Character goods maker Cospa is back with two more otaku neckties of Asuna and Megumin that you can PROBABLY get away with wearing in a formal setting. The ties, 145cm long with width going from 7cm to 4cm, sell for 4,680yen each ahead of a July release. Check them out after the jump.

American non-profit organization Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) provides legal and educational resources to protect the freedom to read comics, and has a history of supporting manga and its readers. Now, they are defending a middle school library's right to carry Sword Art Online manga.
