Back in April, JManga added Golgo 13 creator Takao Saito's adaptation of award winning period author Shotaro Ikenami's Professional Swordsmen of The Edo Era. This week, the digital manga portal is back with Saito's adaptation of one of Ikenami's most famous characters, feared samrai detective Hasegawa Heizō aka Onihei, the Devilish Bureau Chief. Davis Film Acquires "Golgo 13" Film Rights
Plans to take Takao Saito's Duke Togo to the big screen
The legendary assassin Duke Togo is no stranger to live-action films, in Japan at least. But now Samuel Hadida's Davis Film has picked up the Golgo 13 film rights from LEED Publishing Co. Ltd., with plans to bring mangaka Takao Saito's legend to life. More after the jump.
