All-female musical theater troupe Takarazuka Revue, established in 1913, inspiration for manga and anime creators from Osamu Tezuka down to the present day, and parodied in works such as Ouran Highschool Host Club, is finally heading Stateside. In their North American premiere, they will be presenting a performance of crime musical Chicago in July at the David H. Koch Theater as part of the Lincoln Center Festival.

As such, the news that they'll be adapting Nobuhiro Watsuki's hit samurai manga Rurouni Kenshin, isn't entirely surprising, especially since the lead was voiced in anime by Revue veteran Mayo Suzukaze.
Capcom has announced that the all female perfomance group Takarazuka Revue will present a stage production of Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney 3 in January 2013. As with prior shows, the Cosmos Troupe will perform the production with Kei Suzuki doing the script and staging. Hiro Yumi reprises the Edgeworth role. More after the jump.
