The live-action theater play based on the novel The Eccentric Family by Japanese theater group Atelier Duncan will open next year in Tokyo and, of course, in Kyoto. Ticket sales open next week in Japan for both locations. The play is subtitled as "Shichi Henge Ongaku Geki (7 Transformation Musical)" and this will be the second time that Atelier Duncan works with the novel by Morimi Tomihiko. More after the jump!
Shining Office, the artist management agency in Uta No Prince Sama has announced the formation of the Shining Theatrical Troupe, 3 theatrical troupes made up of idols which will have new songs, drama CD releases and merchandise sales. As a part of the promotion, the current official character Twitter accounts will also be active from now until February 28th, blurring the line of reality and fiction in the minds of fangirls. The multidimensional theater project by Satelight and Avex Live Creative titled The Fool has had its voice cast confirmed for the first play in Nobunaga The Fool, planned for December. The event is a new live entertainment show that combines live voice acting by voice actors, live physical acting by actors on stage and live music. More after the jump!
Natsume Yujincho was recently turned into a unique play called a Sound Theater in Japan and the cast took the stage on September 28th. The reader's theater performance will now be available as a Blu-ray or DVD with a new OVA early next year in Japan. The Limited Edition will also include a CD-ROM with Nyanko Sensei digital contents and a color booklet. More after the jump!
